2018 Jeep Compass Latitude

The color is called "Brilliant Black Metallic Pearl" and it was more than likely garage kept because the paint looks great with a nice and deep glossy shine, there are no clear coat issues or rust anywhere on the vehicle and the under-carriage is very clean with no unusual corrosion. The interior is nice with no unusual wear on the front seats, rear seats look great and the carpet is clean with no stains, there are no odors in the vehicle either (non smoker). I drove the vehicle and put around 20 miles on it and mechanically it runs & drives like a new vehicle. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. At highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) the vehicle drives down the road straight with no unusual noises and it does great around town as well. The 4 wheel drive system works just like it should and the suspension does not make any abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. It's just a well kept SUV and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles I had it fully inspected and serviced by a ASE certified repair facility, the mechanic put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission, transfer-case, front & rear differential & they were all full and clean. He replace the oil & filter, replaced all 4 tires, everything else was up to date and the vehicle is still under the 5 year 60,000 mile factory warranty. The Jeep has some nice options and here are a few: 2.4L 4-cylinder with the 9 speed automatic transmission rated at 22 MPG city & 30 MPG highway, 2 wheel drive mode with the option to switch it to full time 4 wheel drive mode, 7 inch touch screen U-Connect Bluetooth with a backup camera, Heated front seats, Heated steering wheel, Remote starter, Power seat, Stability control and more.
