It's hard to find a 2008 Prius with only 1 prior owner and low miles, most Prius owners purchase these vehicles and put close to 20,000 miles per year on them, so we are glad to have this low mileage example for your consideration. The Prius was owned by a retired couple and was garage kept. The paint is in excellent shape with a very deep glossy shine and does not have any clear coat issues anywhere. The interior is nice with no unusual wear on the front or rear seats, carpet is clean and there are no odors in the vehicle ( non smoker ). I drove the Prius and put close to 200 miles on it and mechanically it runs and drives like a new vehicle. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. At highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) the car drives down the highway straight with no unusual noises or vibrations and it drives great around town as well. It's just a well kept car and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it Florida and back. Within the last 10 miles we had it fully inspected and serviced by a ASE certified repair facility. The mechanic put the vehicle up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He replace the engine oil & filter, all 4 tires are new ( Michelin ) and everything else was up to date. The car also comes with a $0 deductible nation-wide warranty at no additional cost. The carfax report is also available showing 1 owner with no prior accidents or damage. You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. Being a Touring package 5, it has some nice options and here are a few: Navigation system, Backup camera, Heated mirrors, Alloy wheels, CD player, Auto dimming rear view mirror, Power windows, Power locks, Power mirrors, Cruise control and more. If you do a Internet search on these cars you will find some great reviews. The Prius has been the most reliable and best selling hybrid vehicle since it's release in 2001. The reliability of the Toyota is excellent and the vehicle is rated at 46 MPG combined highway & city driving and many Prius owners are reporting up to 62 MPG on fueleconomy.gov. I have seen a lot of them with 200,000 miles still in great running condition, this one has right around 36,000 miles and has a lot of life left. If you have been looking for a good daily driver that's great on gas, this would be a great choice for you for the next 100,000 miles ( or more ).
