2004 Chevrolet S-10 LS

You can also reach me by phone, 765-456-1788. This very nice 2004 Chevy S-10 Crew Cab ZR5 4x4 with 63,893 miles. The truck has averaged right around 10,000 miles per year, thats pretty low considering most drivers put 15000 miles per year on a vehicle. Within the last couple days I had the truck inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. The mechanic I take my vehicles to has been working on vehicles for 15 years working for a big new car dealership here in town, he is very good and all my vehicles go to him for the inspection and reconditioning. He has his own ASE certified repair facility and does anything from oil changes to rebuilding engines. He inspected it and told me its a very truck. He looked it over and took it for a test drive, it did not need brakes and the engine and transmission did not have any mechanical issues or oil leaks. He checked the fluid condition and level on the front and rear differential, transfer case, transmission and they were all full and clean. He replaced the engine oil and filter and the front tires. There are absolutely no mechanical issues with the truck and I am including a warranty on the engine/transmssion/4x4 transfer case at no additional cost. This is a $0 deductible warranty good at any repair facility in the U.S. I also have the title free and clear of any liens. Mechanically I personally drive all the vehicles I sell for a few days. I drove this one for a couple days and put about 60 miles on and it. It drives great on the highway and does great in town as well. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up every morning and idles very smooth when in park. The truck accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues, it doesn't "clunk" or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "clunk" or hesitation. The 4x4 push button works great with no delayed 4wd engagment. The steering feels great when making sharp turns in the parking lot with no abnormal play in it. There are no issues with the truck at all and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to Florida and back. If you look around on ebay or any other car site that sells vehicles, you will see that these 4.3L Vortec V6 engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 150.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 200.000 miles range still running great. This one has has right around 64,000 miles so it still has alot of life left. I always buy S10 and Sonoma trucks with the 4.3L Vortec V6 because I have never had any problems with them. I have had over 10 of these and there just great vehicles.They are proven to last and I would rather sell a vehicle with a solid drivetrain reputation then one with a problematic one. The 4.3L Vortec V6 in the truck is a well known engine in the GM line-up, they have had the engine around for close to 20 years. They put this engine in Astro vans, Safari vans, S-10 trucks, Sonoma trucks, Silverado 1/2 ton work trucks, Sierra 1/2 ton work trucks and some of their other small size GM vehicles. GM even puts the same exact engine in some of the 2010 Chevy and GMC light duty work truck with the V6 option. So needless to say, these are great motors and should last you a long time with regular maintenance. Electrical The AC and heat works great, cruise control works, power windows work, power door locks work and so does the radio. There are no electrical issues with the truck. Exterior The truck was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in near new condition with no clear coat or rust issues.
