2003 Chevrolet S-10

This very nice and clean 2003 Chevy S-10 LX Ex cab 3-door with 74,653 miles. The truck has averaged right around 10,600 miles per year, thats pretty low considering most drivers put 15000 miles per year on a vehicle. Within the last couple days I had the truck inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. He inspected it and told me its a very solid truck. He looked it over and took it for a test drive, it did not need brakes and the engine and transmission did not have any mechanical issues. He checked the fluid level and condition on the front and rear differential, transmission and they were all full and clean. He replaced the engine oil & filter and also replaced the oil cooler lines, they had a slight oil leak so he installed new lines. There are absolutely no mechanical issues with the truck so I am including a warranty through a nationwide warranty company at no additional cost. This is a $0 deductible coverage good at any repair facility in the U.S. You are welcome to have the truck inspected by you own mechanic as well. Mechanically I personally drive all the vehicles I sell for a few days before I get them serviced and put up for sale. I like doing this because it gives me a good idea on how the vehicle runs and drives. I drove this one for about 3 days and put around 50 miles on and it. It drives great on the highway and does great in town as well. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up every morning and idles very smooth when in park. The truck accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues, it doesn't "clunk" or shift in to gear hard. At highway speeds the truck feels solid and not all over the road. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "clunk" or hesitation. There are no issues with the truck at all and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to Florida and back. If you do a internet search on these trucks, you will see that these 4.3L Vortec V6 engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 180.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 200.000 miles range still running great. This one has has right around 74,000 miles so it still has alot of life left. The 4.3L Vortec V6 in the truck is a well known engine in the GM line-up, they have had the engine around for close to 20 years. They put this engine in Astro vans, Safari vans, Sonoma trucks, Silverado 1/2 ton work trucks, Sierra 1/2 ton work trucks and some of their other small size GM vehicles. GM even puts the same exact engine in some of the 2010 Chevy and GMC light duty work truck with the V6 option. So needless to say, these are great motors and should last you a long time with regular maintenance. Electrical The AC and heat works great, cruise control works and so does the radio. There are no electrical issues with the truck. Exterior The truck was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in great shape with no clear coat issues. It was more then likely garage kept because the paint has a nice deep gloss to it.
