1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata 10th Anniversary

The car has averaged right around 2,300 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 5,000-10,000 miles per year on their "weekend" vehicle. The car was sold new in Tucson Arizona 07-27-1999, it was there until 06-09-2003 when the owners moved to Jacksonville FL, it has been in FL since 2003 up until a few weeks ago when I acquired the vehicle. The previous owner was a retired couple and they took excellent care of it, they used it as a weekend vehicle and always had it maintained at the same Mazda dealership, they traded the vehicle in for a brand new Miata. The color is called "Sapphire blue mica" and the paint is in excellent shape with a nice and deep glossy shine, it does not have any clear coat issues anywhere and the undercarriage & rocker panels are clean with no corrosion. The interior is nice with no unusual wear on the front seats, carpet is clean and there are no odors in the vehicle either. I drove the car and put close to 30 miles on it and mechanically it's in excellent shape. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. At highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) the car drives down the highway straight with no unusual noises or vibrations and it drives great around town as well. These Miatas are extremely fun to drive, they handle like they're on rails and give you a nice road to car connection. They are not plush vehicles with fancy technology options, navigation systems or massage seats, but they are a true sports car that gives you a very satisfying feeling when driving on a twisty road. Within the last 10 miles I had the vehicle fully inspected and serviced by a ASE certified repair facility. The mechanic put the vehicle up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission & rear differential and it was full and clean, since it's a 19 year old vehicle I asked him to do some preventive maintenance. He replace the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, valve cover gasket, 4 tires and change the oil & filter. Everything else was up to date and the vehicle comes with a $0 deductible nation-wide warranty at no additional cost. The 10th Anniversary package was a numbered car, Mazda made a total of 7500 vehicles, 3500 of them was imported to the U.S market and this one is number 3073. The car also has a 6-speed manual transmission, Chrome wheels, ABS brakes, A/C, Power windows & Locks, Cruise control, BOSE sound system and special colored 10th anniversary interior. There are thousands of these Miatas for sale, but it's hard to find a limited production model with low miles & owned by the same person since new, so we are glad to have this nice example for your consideration.
